Jeff Tiller, P.E. Director
He has an undergraduate and masters degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, and is a licensed mechanical engineer. He manages several technical assistance projects for Southface and is on the faculty of Appalachian State University where he chairs the Building Technology program. He is available to provide technical assistance and training.
Jeff is a primary author of the "Builder's Guide to Energy Efficient Homes" published in seven states. He has also conducted numerous studies on the impact of energy efficiency on state and national economies, including the recent comprehensive study on how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in North Carolina.

Suddreth, M.A. Technical Program Director
Scott has a M.A. in Industrial Technology from Appalachian State University.
His concentration was Appropriate Technology, which allowed him to focus
on renewable
energy technologies and sustainable development. Scott is the director
of the
Appalachian Regional Initative for Sustainable Energy (ARISE)
which is one of North Carolina's Million Solar Roofs Partnerships
